Telangana CM Praises AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Announces Joint Efforts for Hyderabad's Development

During the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Old City Metro Rail Project in Hyderabad district, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extended praise to AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, lauding his advocacy for all Indians in Parliament. Reddy emphasized the government's commitment to developing every corner of Hyderabad through the Vibrant Telangana 2050 master plan, which aims to create a comprehensive development roadmap for the next 25 years.

Speaking about his collaboration with Asaduddin Owaisi, Reddy acknowledged Owaisi's extensive knowledge and inclusive representation in Parliament, emphasizing his support for the development of Hyderabad. Reddy also highlighted the joint efforts between the Telangana government and AIMIM to work towards the holistic development of Hyderabad, particularly focusing on the 55km Musi River development project.

In response, Asaduddin Owaisi reaffirmed his party's support for the Telangana government's initiatives, particularly endorsing the Musi River development project and expressing readiness to contribute to its successful completion. Owaisi emphasized the significant benefits of the project for the local population and pledged cooperation with the state government for the overall development of the city.

The Old City Metro Rail Project, a part of the Hyderabad Metro Rail expansion, aims to connect various parts of the twin cities, including the Old City, to the Hyderabad airport, benefiting underprivileged and common citizens.

During his address, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy contested the notion of the area being referred to as the "old city," asserting it as the original Hyderabad, globally renowned. He highlighted the contributions of the Congress party in developing Hyderabad, including the establishment of infrastructure such as the Metro Rail, Outer Ring Road, International Airport, and the growth of IT and pharma sectors between 2004 and 2014.

Reddy reiterated his commitment to the development of Hyderabad under his government's leadership and expressed his personal connection to the city, pledging to prioritize its progress. He emphasized the administration's familiarity with every aspect of Hyderabad, affirming a dedicated focus on its comprehensive growth and advancement.
